Dear NGO/Associations/Network group Colleagues and Friends,
This is a joint statement which has been consolidated based on inputs received during a strategic workshop yesterday among NGO/Associations.
As you are all aware, the RGC is moving forward very fast to process this legislation and most of us now come to the conclusion that this legislation does more harm to us than good. The INGOs have spoken up to support us, the international NGOs outside Cambodia has voice their concerns in our support and some Development Partners have also spoken up strongly in our support. We now must speak up solidly in solidarity to show that we are united in advocating for promoting democratic space to protect the poor and vulnerable people of Cambodia as well as the sustainable development of Cambodia.
